About Us

Bucks LGBTQ Center is directed by Dr. Heidi Dalzell, Dr. Stacy Hunt, and Clinical Coordinator, Kayti Protos, LCSW.

The program is unique in providing individual therapy by Masters and Doctoral level therapists with specific training around supporting and affirming LGBTQ clients and their families.  Groups are run by well-trained and experienced therapists.

The beautiful space at Barclay Commons, home to our umbrella entity “Bucks Support Services”, Bucks Eating Support Collaborative, Bucks Recovery Center & Newtown Yoga, allows clients to add on other services: specialized psychotherapy, nutrition, massage, yoga, meditation, wellness classes, personal training, acupuncture, and hypnotherapy.

Location & Payment

Bucks LGBTQ Center is located in the heart of Newtown in Bucks County PA. It is an ideal setting for individuals and family members to find clinical support, community events, and educational resources on topics related to gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. Clients can attend clinical services for as long as is necessary as they navigate the coming out process, transition into a new understanding of identity, and explore opportunities and challenges as life unfolds as a member of the LGBTQ community. We are a private pay facility, which means we can provide receipts for services for your submission to your insurance carrier for Out-Of-Network” reimbursement. Some of the primary therapists are able to accept insurance for the individual psychotherapy sessions.
