About Us

Bucks LGBTQ Center has two locations in the heart of Bucks County PA. It is an ideal setting for individuals and family members to find clinical support, community events, and educational resources on topics related to gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation. Clients can attend clinical services for as long as is necessary as they navigate the coming out process, transition into a new understanding of identity, and explore opportunities and challenges as life unfolds as a member of the LGBTQ community.

The program is unique in providing individual therapy by Masters and Doctoral level therapists with specific training around supporting and affirming LGBTQ clients and their families. Groups are run by well-trained and experienced therapists.

Bucks LGBTQ Center is directed by Dr. Heidi Dalzell, Dr. Stacy Hunt, and Clinical Coordinators, Kayti Protos, LCSW & Mark Ludwig, LMFT, CAADC.”
The beautiful space at Barclay Commons & Buckingham House, is also home to our umbrella entity “Bucks Support Services”, Bucks Eating Support Collaborative, Bucks Recovery Center & Bucks Family Support Center, allows clients to add on other services such as specialized psychotherapy and nutrition counseling.

We are a private pay facility, which means we can provide receipts for services for your submission to your insurance carrier for Out-Of-Network” reimbursement. Some of the primary therapists are able to accept insurance for the individual psychotherapy sessions.
