Giannina Cipolloni, MS, LPC, CMPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Mental Performance Consultant through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology. Giannina earned her Master’s degree from Holy Family University with a concentration in Student Affairs & Higher Education. Prior to her time at Holy Family, Giannina attained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia and also studied and excelled in graduate classes at Temple University in the Psychology of Movement (Sport Psychology) program.

As a former Division I and professional athlete, Giannina has a special interest in working with athletes and performers of all ages and levels. As an openly queer therapist, she also enjoys working with people of the LGBTQIA+ community and understands the complex issues of same sex relationships. Giannina has specialized in coaching and counseling adolescents and young adults in both of these populations. She has also worked with a diverse group of individuals with a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and family dynamics, stress management, and substance abuse.

Giannina’s approach to therapy begins with meeting the individual where they are in their lives and creating a safe, non-judgmental space to work on identifying their strengths and challenges. She incorporates strengths-based, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, CBT, and ACT therapeutic models within her practice, as well as Neurofeedback (EEG biofeedback). Giannina has a passion for empowering her clients to have unwavering confidence to be their most authentic selves and reach their highest potentials.
