Giannina Cipolloni, MS, is a Master’s Level Counselor at Bucks Support Services. Giannina earned her Master’s degree from Holy Family University with a concentration in Student Affairs/Higher Education. During her time at Holy Family, she completed her internship experience at The College of New Jersey in the Counseling and Psychological Services Department. Through the internship, she worked with a diverse group of individuals with a variety of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, relationship and family dynamics, stress management, substance abuse, and issues relating to the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.
Giannina also led different groups that focused on managing and coping with anxiety, depression, and trauma related to sexual assault. Prior to her time at Holy Family, Giannina attained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia. She also studied and excelled in graduate classes at Temple University in the Psychology of Movement (Sport Psychology) program. Giannina’s approach to therapy begins with meeting the individual where they are in their lives and creating a safe, non-judgmental space to work on identifying strengths and challenges. She incorporates strengths-based, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, CBT, and ACT therapeutic models within her practice. As a former Division I and professional athlete, Giannina has a special interest in working with athletes and performers of all ages and levels.
